This project is a complete renovation of the existing 24,000 square foot building. In 2002 we designed a 35,000 square foot addition to this facility. The existing building was originally constructed in 1997 and was completed as a design-build project by other firms.
Renovations to this existing building included:
1. A design review of the existing mechanical system for possible upgrade options.
2. Internal reconfiguration of spaces that were coordinated with construction sequencing in order to keep the building occupants working during all construction phases.
3. Interior finish upgrades throughout the building to upgrade finishes to match the quality of the 2002 addition.
4. Security upgrades.
5. Employee entrance upgrades including a walk-off system and new exterior canopy.
6. General utility renovations to coincide with the revised internal layouts. Special attention was given to acoustics between executive suites and conference rooms and the financial areas.
Unlike the previous 2002 Addition project, this project was completed with the traditional architectural firm as the prime consultant and a Construction Manager construction delivery method.
