Banwell Architects, in association with Mitchell/Giurgola Architects, was commissioned to complete a 26,000 square foot addition with complete renovations to existing facility, originally constructed in 1969, to house labs, classrooms, and support space. Mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, and life safety systems were upgraded to meet the latest codes. The Science Center includes the latest resources such as: Climate-controlled research chambers, Electron microscopy suite, 1400 liter marine aquarium, Human physiology lab, Museum and specimen room, and Rooftop greenhouse.
