French Wing Addition for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests
Concord, New Hampshire

U.S. Green Building Council awarded the French Wing at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests’ Conservation Center a Gold certification in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) program. Designed by Banwell Architects, the French Wing is the first project in New England to earn this certification. The French Wing is one of only a dozen buildings nationally to receive a Gold certification.

Museum of New Hampshire History
New Hampshire Historical Society
Concord, New Hampshire

Adaptive re-use of the 1878 Stone Warehouse at Eagle Square in Concord for The Museum of New Hampshire History. The entire building (20,000 square feet) was rehabilitated to provide exhibition galleries, museum store, collections storage, and curator offices and work spaces. Construction completed fall 1994; the museum opened in April of 1995.

Rockingham County Superior Courthouse
Brentwood, New Hampshire

Complete architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of a 100,000 square foot courthouse, expandable to 170,000 square feet, for the State of New Hampshire; includes prisoner holding cells, jury and non-jury courtrooms, clerk and other court-related offices, register of deeds and probate. Construction cost $9 million; completion September 1995.
