Ingrid Moulton, AIA
Principal

Ms. Moulton joined Banwell Architects in January 2000 and became a firm principal in January 2004.

Ms. Moulton is a degreed professional architect experienced with developing projects from conceptual design all the way through construction administration, as well as specialized skills in project management; she has expertise in permitting, coordinating government approvals, and working with construction managers for many types of complex projects. She is proficient in AutoCAD, from schematic design through detail development. She has extensive software experience coupled with personnel management skills.

Ms. Moulton is a LEED™ Accredited Professional and has an interest in energy efficient, sustainable design.

She has been project architect for the following projects:

Community College of Vermont (Wilder, VT) $2M 2004
New building design of 15,000 square foot classroom facility. The building will house 10 new classrooms, a large lecture hall, multipurpose room, office areas, space for VT Interactive Television, as well as space for Vermont State College. Building construction is planned for summer of 2004, with a Dec. 2004 completion.

World Learning, School for International Training (Brattleboro, VT) $20M 2003 – 06
Various projects to complete 2001 Master Plan, including new academic buildings and a number of renovation and addition projects, to be implemented over the next ten years. Campus contains 20 primary buildings and various smaller outbuildings, including older buildings from the original estate (circa 1900), a number of wood-frame residential and academic structures from the 1960s and ‘70s, and two new/renewed buildings from the 1990s.

Merrimack Valley School (Merrimack, NH) $12M 2003 – 05
Renovations and additions to three schools in the District. Full scope is to be decided. Programming and schematic design preparation for 2005 bond vote.

Granite State Management & Resources (Concord, NH) $750,000 2003 – 04
Design services for interior renovation of a 24,000 square foot office facility. Renovations include new office layouts, new interior finishes, acoustical improvements throughout. Utilities will be upgraded to the new layouts, and HVAC system will be improved by adding supplemental heat and new controls. Two new exterior canopies will be added, one at the employee entrance/loading area and one at the rear entrance.

Gilford (NH) Police Station 2003 – 04
Planning study for location of new 15,000 square foot police facility. Bond vote 20054. Options include free-standing outbuilding at various locations, attached addition, and renovation and expansion of existing facility.

Baker Hill Golf Clubhouse (Newbury, NH) $800,000 2003
Design documents for a new 3,500 square foot country club building situated on an existing 1800’s farm site. The new building is nestled into the site, revitalizing the existing barn into a pro shop. Building materials were chosen to be New England vernacular. Main floor has a kitchen for functions, a bar area and restrooms. The lower level is comprised of the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms. Construction Spring 2003.

Math Center at Keene State College (Keene, NH) $900,000 2003
The project consists of several additions totaling 2,770 square feet of new space; and 4,152 square feet renovations of an existing residential-style building on one of the main streets of the KSC campus. The new classroom addition mimics the residential style of the existing building. The new entry connects the old to the new and has a more modern, commercial appearance. Construction Spring 2003.

Vermont Academy (Saxtons River, VT) $900,000 2003
Design documents and construction administration of design-build project. Expansion and renovation to Lucy Athletic Complex locker room. Project completely renovates the existing space to accommodate increasing student population, while adding a new main entry, coaches, officials, and team rooms. Building circulation and finishes to be upgraded. Construction Summer 2003.

Granite State Management & Resources (Concord, NH) $3.8M 2002 – 03
Schematic Design through Construction Administration services for a Design-Build project. A 35,000 square foot, 2-story addition to existing corporate headquarters building to house various corporate functions, a new cafeteria, meeting rooms and lease spaces. Complete 2002.

Laconia (NH) Schools
Elm Street 2001 – 02:
Multiple additions and a complete renovation to the existing 27,000 square foot school originally built in 1960. Complete 2002.
Pleasant Street 2001 – 02:
10,100 square feet additions and a complete renovation to the existing 27,000 square foot school originally built in 1960. Complete 2002.
Woodland Heights 2002 – 03: Additions and a complete renovation to the existing open-concept, 52,000 square foot school. Construction 2003.

Gilford Middle/High School (Gilford, NH) $18M 2000 – 2004
Program development and full design services of additions and renovations to existing open-concept Middle and High School. Existing middle-high school to be fully renovated and converted into 650-student high school. New 8,000 square foot addition for high school classrooms. New 85,000 square foot, 450-student middle school will be built as a connected addition to the existing school. Shared spaces include kitchen, service and loading, and media staff room. Construction 2002 – 2004.

Proctor Academy Theater and Meeting Hall (Andover, NH) 2000 – 01
Design and construction administration for a 400-seat Meeting House/Theater in the center of campus as a focal point for the Arts Quad. Complete 2001.

Cardigan Mountain School Dorms (Canaan, NH) 2000 – 01
Design Documents and Construction Administration for two housing buildings. Buildings consisted of faculty housing at each end, with student dorm rooms in between.
